Pat Waggoner is a native of Nashville, TN. He is a 1969 graduate of Nashville’s Hillwood High School and a 1973 graduate of Lipscomb University where he received a B.S. degree in accounting.
Pat met his wife, Elizabeth, while at Lipscomb. They were married March 30, 1974 at the West End Church of Christ in Nashville, TN by their accounting professor, Dr. Axel Swang. Elizabeth worked as an auditor with Ernst & Ernst and passed the CPA exam before starting a family and taking on full-time “Mom” status. She currently works for Betts & Rubio CPAs.
Pat, Elizabeth, and Martha (23) currently live in Nashville and worship at the Crieve Hall Church of Christ congregation. Paula and Matt Vergne live in Charleston, SC with their daughter, Sophie. Phil (27) is the Youth Minister at the Mt. Juliet Church of Christ. Daniel passed from this life at the age of 17 on August 24, 1995 to be with our Lord.
After graduating from Lipscomb, Pat served at Genesco Inc. for 21 years as an auditor, cash management director, financial operations director, risk manager, and retirement trust investment manager. Pat was down-sized from Genesco Inc. on April 30, 1995. He was employed as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Folk-Jordan Real Estate Co. Inc. Pat served in this capacity until June 30, 1999, when Crye-Leike Realty acquired Folk-Jordan. Pat is currently working with Coldwell Banker Barnes as an Affiliate Broker and Partner on the Bogle-Waggoner Team.
Pat currently serves as an elder at Crieve Hall Church of Christ. He has served Crieve Hall in this capacity since February, 1999. He enjoys teaching an adult Bible Class with Brent Ring and Anthony Turner on Sundays entitled “Journey through the Bible.” Pat teaches 5th and 6th grade boys with Johnny Guthrie on Wednesday nights, leads singing and preaches once a month at Metro’s Criminal Justice Center on 2nd Avenue, teaches a Bible Class at Metro’s ORC facility off Harding Place, serves as Commission of a men’s Metro Softball League consisting of 32 teams, and assists Mike Bray (Commissioner) with the men’s Basketball League.
Pat is an active member of the South Nashville Civitan Club. He is an active member of South Nashville Exchange Club. Pat enjoys helping clients to achieve their real estate business and investment objectives by attempting to provide the highest level of professional and quality service based on the clients’ needs and time constraints. He attempts to humbly walk by faith with boldness and perseverance, knowing that God’s Will will be done in everything. He accepts His plan, recognized His power and trusts God in controlling life’s events as best for us and as God’s good and perfect Will for our lives.
